Trident Maple - NBPCA

Trident Maple
RN Trident Maple Resized.jpg
This tree was grown from seed in 1989, and trained as a bonsai from 1999. Note the very wide trunk in relation to the height, suggesting a truly ancient tree.
This tree was defoliated in December to increase the ramification of the branches and to reduce the size of the leaf and to shorten the leaf stalk.
