hehehe, sorry pal, im sure with my not so optimal results were from not takin enough care. being a fig i thought it should be fine but was to much.

do the research, take your time and do it right ;)

Yes twas me with the Azalea adn It seems to have worked Well.

I took the grafting tape off a few weeks ago to check and looks like it worked finesee the thread here

I recommend if you have nothing to lose and a "fall back position" then go for it :-)
We will learn nothing if we do not try out different things.
Just go slowly when you carve out the heartwood so that you do not toch the inside of the bark.

I tried a test on some branches I removed earlier to get the feel of how to do it before doing it for real

OKAY im going to try it in spring lolz i just repotted it so dont want to put too much stress on it

but yes ive read that post a billion times ken but didnt have any trees to bend hahahha

LOL do what I did
Go asnd find a gum tree and pick up some branches to practise :-) :D
