thanks mate :D i reckon you might be right there with option two, it is a wee bit more dramatic isnt it :D

gonna have to wait for the pot, it will be expensive for the size of it.

I like option 2 as well dude. I didn't as much at first, but do now :P
That price for the pot I gave you will be a maximum, I'll probably be able to get it cheaper than that. And i will look great with that tree.

hi , awesome juniper you have there , it clearly has alot of potential.

here is a pic of one of my shohin junipers...
it will be a cascade.

its going to be a tough job and take time before it will show any real quality due to the extremely small size...

by the way the pot its in i got from japan , bloody expensive too.

i think its so cute and i know i will enjoy working with this one :)

getting the wire on was no easy task.....

yeah you have to be carefull with junipers , never remove too much foilage.. do it bit by bit over the spring or summer peroid and also be sure your trimming them at a 45 degree angle.. or [pinch them out.

i find junipers a pain in the ass sometimes lol

here is my masive 25 year old cascade juniper...

the biggest issues with junipers is letting the foilage get too thick.. then what happens is the inside foilage starts to go brown.. its because its not getting enough light and sun :)

speaking of foliage being thick yours looks like it needs a good thin out! ;) i would be tempted to wire the whole thing out to, depending on the structure of the tree it might make for a more upright tree than a cascade???

im gona wait on spring and start pinching a lil harder to get back into shape... then il see how the branching structure looks..

heck il put up a pic of her once i thin it out :)

like most of you.. im gona be flat out all spring and back into summer.

god i just love this time of the year !!!!

coming home everyday to see new growth is a blessing.

yea it dd P... me of a bit, i reduced the amount of foliage over a period of time, then i left it, then removed more foliage to what it is in the last pic, waited for a bit then done the root prune to get it in the oversized pot it was in.. then it didnt take to long to go down hill from that. :(

Thats a bit of bad lucky Jamie,

Junis are tough little buggers.

Im holding out on one at the moment to make sure it doesn't crack the sads from being transplanted two weeks ago. I saw a few repotted a month ago and they are going great so I'm hoping all will be good.

I hate it when I kill one... Damn touchy little things some times. Just teaching us lessons every few days.

Tech
Whilst walking through the forest of Bonsai Myths, I found a single small tree.
From it I learned all I needed to know.
