[ID] Microcarpa or Qld small leaf

Post by Glenda »

Hi People,

I have two figs that look very much the same in leaf, but one has light grey bark, and the other has brown bark with grey stripes. I know the one with brown bark and grey stripes is a microcarpa. Could the other one be that too, or could it be a Qld small leaf (obliqua)? What are the distinguishing features between the two?

Sorry, no photos available at the mo.

Glenda

Jamie, I only have small cuttings of the one with the grey bark, but I could get you a picture of the parent tree, perhaps? Will take a day or two......
