Some carving from Southern Africa or India or Disneyland
A friend emailed me some pictures of this tree in Southern Africa. I just had to share them with you all!
I wonder if the artist used a Dremel or something larger
Regards,
Steven

Re: Some carving from Southern Africa
Well, now I'm really confused
My mate told me Southern Africa, Banksia says Disneyland and m.i. told Aaron it's in India
Can anyone confirm if this tree really exists?

Google Images "Tree of Life in Disneyland" and you'll see what I mean. I can't recall where, but this topic was on another bonsai forum not that long ago.

Just Googled "Nalgonda" and lo and behold up came photos of the same tree!!
I think the only way we'll reallly find out it's whereabouts is if Mickey & Minnie are standing in front of it
Cheers!

It's definitely Disneyland. There was a site posted on AB before Christmas in a thread on figs, I think, and photos of this tree came up.

Here it is, on the Disney website.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/ ... e-of-life/
There's a theatre under it, so I'd suggest it's fake. It's 14 stories tall and about 16 metres across.
