I have a Pentax 100D and will thoroughly recommend them to anyone interested in a Digital SLR
Brain dead simple to use in Auto mode, but real easy to move into manual modes so you can strech the Skills envelope when you want
18 - 200mm Zoom should cover most scenarios well
