Heartbreaking Earthworks Pty Ltd

Post by Gareth »

Well i walked past a carpark this morning in my town that has been recently developed, a garden in that carpark, that has been there for around 20 years, that is absolutly choc-a-block with junipers with trunks as thick as your arm is there.

Or should i say WAS there, cause they got ripped out with the backhoe this morning, im going to drop past this afternoon and see if i can rescue any, hopefully im not too late.

Yeah I was eyeballing some junis at the supermarket car park the other day, they look so good they may as well be hanging off the side of Mt. Fuji, next time I see the gardener there I might have to bribe him to tell centre management they're sick and dying and need prompt removal, its a Woolies supermarket so they would only pay him a subsistence wage, probably $8.00 an hour, should be easy to bribe ;)

Hope you can still be able to rescue some plant. It happened last time for me. By the time I came back in the afternoon, there was only a huge fig stump left. I played arround with the hand saw for half an hour but finally decided to leave it as there was no way I could fit it in my car. I have to say the stump of the qld small leaf fig was VERY nice! Oh well.
Good luck.
Always we hope someone else has the answer.
