Pot Belly Fig

Hey yall here's some pictures of a pot belly fig i got about a year ago. I got it off ebay.

when you purchased it did it have a shocking grafting job done on it? i brought one off ebay a while back but it had the worst graft job i have ever seen in my life (not what the ebay pic showed of course), looks good thou mate what are you planning to do with it? :D

Wow! That's quite a little transformation. The bark has aged nicely and I'm still trying to figure out which roots you removed, to achieve that. :? :)

For some reason I don't particularly appreciated the roots of a pot belly, especially the characteristic "swelling". But with what you have now, it looks more akin with a PJ fig. I like it. :D

I didn't notice any nasty grafting when i got it, but i have tried my own on the roots i cut off. The second photo is of the opposite side to the first pic so thats probably why its hard to tell where the roots were removed. I have a sketch of an informal upright i was going for but i cant upload it.

it looks so much better with those roots taken off,
it'll turn out pretty good mate how often do u defoiliate yours?
they swell up so fast when you pump em full of water.

heres the dodgy one i picked up you can see where they grafted two branches, was very disapointing. looks like the one u got is pretty good man :D
