Chinese Box very ill
My chinese box I have had since 2007 has been very healthy but 3 weeks ago started looking very sad for some reason but I don't know, so was hoping someone maybe able to help me save it. I have not changed where it has been living all these years and the water and ferterlizing has remained the same as was suggested to me a long time ago.(which my plants all liked and are doing well) but not this one. thanks for any help. sheba53

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

i have found buxus species in general when young like your tree can be very finicky, i had a couple of nice mame size trees that were going great then all of a sudden they started to turn and eventually carked it. i would try and put it in some shade for now, stop fertilising and water when it is just going on the dryer side of moist, i wouldnt fertilise right now just a bit of seasol.

Had two small buxus (not chinese) which did and looked the same as yours.... I found (one instance as a post-mortem 
) that the roots had grown so much in a late autumn burst that they had clogged up the drain holes completely and buxus roots are quite sensitive to being water-logged. What was odd was that there was no proportional change in the foliage increase.... have a mate who grows many buxus and he mentioned that they seem to almost put foliage on hold until roots are 'happy'. For the moment, poke a nail a few times through each drain hole and see if that helps?

I would hedge my bets on a root issue for whatever reason. I think the best chance it has is to get it out of that soil and into a recouperating mix.
Something like Grant's perlite gravel mix or grit and spag moss.
Have a good look at the roots when you get the soil off and remove any dead roots.
A nice strong dose or two of seasol as well.
