buxus better.jpg
size- 30cm tall from soil to top of pot, nebari spreads 13cm. trunk just abve nebari 10cm.
pot is good qaulity and a good size for the tree, it is big enough to allow the tree to grow. possibly move it on to a shallower pot, no smaller in length though.

SHOHIN YAKUZA!!! taking the top half of trees of since 2005!

How old would this tree be and how long have you had it. Would it cope with my climate, and would you be willing to ship it up and how much do you think it would cost in freight? I'm new to all this but maybe you would have an idea. I have no idea how much you are hoping for and I can't find you listed for a PM.

Thanks alot Glenda, didn't know about that shortcut. Was looking thru the alphabetical s in the "members link"...couldn't find him.
i have had this one for about 12 months roughly, give or take a few months. as for the age of it i cant be certain but would say at a estimate we are looking at a 15-20 year old tree going that buxus can be slow to grow and the size of the tree.
post wouldnt be an issue, up north you would be looking at around $25-$40. down south to the gold coast area $25-$40. down to melb $30-$40. to sydney $20-$40. to Adelaide $30-$40.
these are ballpark postal costs, exacts can be sorted once organised.
as for a price it was an expensive bit of stock, i paid for the quality of the tree and the size for a buxus. so taking that on board i would be looking for $275 ONO. I know that sounds a bit but the tree was quite expensive for me to buy originally and the pot wasnt cheap either.
Edit- Loretta, yes it would do very well with your climate.

Help appreciated.
Mal.
Hi mal,
I would like all bids private messaged to me then i will place the bid up on the thread, that way it is silent and fair. so if you bid for example $100 then on sunday afternoon someone PM's me a bid of $120 i will post it up on the thread.
thanks.
Jamie.

come on people! there was more interest in this before i put the ONO price up, like i said it has been slashed for the auction!! put a bid in you might get lucky and get a great tree at a discount price!!
This buxus cost me $160 as a stock tree and the pot was $39 to give you a guideline of what this tree originally cost!!
get your bids in people, once the reserve is met the tree will be going!!
