Yup, We get a lot of wind in Feb/March and my few deciduous think its winter time already.
Right through the coldest time of the year my apricots burst into leaf, they think winters over due to the lack of wind.

Hey Astro
Beautiful - I love spring - you've inspired me to take some pics.
My trees have in the last few weeks started to pop.
I have a couple of wisteria that look like sticks, how long have your been flowering for?
I'm new to wisteria, do you have any pics before the bud burst?
Sean

Re: spreading the spring cheer
hey,
before flowering it looks liek sticks with small buds. last year i only had three flowers but this year i have 9. one day the buds were all the same, a few days later and they all just burst. i did the whole keeping the wisteria potbund and hard pruned in early summer and it seems to have worked for flowering. i have recently repotted it into a bigger pot as i want to focus more on growth for now and not flowering
