Two newly potted figs
Just thought I would share my two newest figs that I potted yesterday. That is, in between the rain and the howling wind. Both were collected from the bush a few years ago. The smaller tree is , overall 200mm by 150 high and the larger is 500mm wide by 550 high. Love to hear what you guys think

Re: Two newly potted figs
Nice, I think there great. That first one looks quite elegent for a fig which is a nice difference to see and the second one looks like IRS going to be a super sumo to me if that's the way your going with it, which I'd imagine.
Do you know what type of fig they are?
Great work,
Hugh

Re: Two newly potted figs
That second one sure fits Salvatore's ratios
I like the elegant look of No. 1 too. Styled more like you would expect from a deciduous tree but it works well. Nice work BB!
Regards,
Steven

Well I guess that would be right eh Queensland small leaf fig says it all
all we get to dig around my area is privit and a few cas & eucs if you can get them to survive which I've finally mastered i think
well I'm going down to ray nesci nursery next weekend so you never know he might have some ficus obliqua if I'm lucky. But I have to admit I am envious of you queenslanders

Re: Two newly potted figs
Nothing wrong with the Privet you guys get to dig Hugh. I guess it is just a matter of Human Nature after all, we all want what we can't get or have
Nice couple of trees BB, particularly like the first one.

Re: Two newly potted figs
Well your right there graeme there's nothing wrong with privit, nearly half my collection is privit now. I love privit
but that's very true that we all want what we can't get. But I suppose we've got to think that what we get is the best we can get, if that makes sense.
