ID maple maybe trident?

Post by Matthew »

Here is a tree out front near my ginko, i didnt think it was a trident as the leaves looked long and pointy however looking at its spring growth now im not sure? tree is about 30 feet tall. Also included a pic of my ginko just opening and my large palona tree at its peak of flowering :D

I didnt take note of the buds check tomorrow . it didnt produce those spiky pods like my other two or flower like my two are in atm?

yep she's definitley a liquidamber, you will notice new buds alternate and are not opposite one another!! if it were an acer new buds on a branch would be directly opposite from one another! ;)
