Repotting deciduous now
Is it totally the wrong time to repot deciduous trees now?, i have a few i never had a chance to do before the bud burst in spring. A ginko, premna japonica and taiwan maple, also should i defoliate with the repotting or wait?

It's still ok to repot and prune, just don't be too destructive with your root and branch pruning.
All difficult things have their origin in that which is easy, and great things in that which is small.

Make sure the new leaves are hardened off and lightly trim back but not defoliate.
Put in shade after a light repot for a couple of weeks. Mist a number of times each day for the first and then taper off.
