Just out of curiosity, what was used as dressing stones in the first picture from the brisbane shows?
I am looking for something similar to cover the diatomite in the pots at home. My moss keeps drying out so I figure I will go with a neutral dressing stone instead.

Possibly Quinken which I think is a black scoria from up north.
