Hello everyone. I picked up a parcel from the post office the other day

Most of you have probably noticed an amiable American by the name of P.J.Katich pop up here now and then, well after seeing some of his pots on an old thread I have been emailing him regularly and now have just recieved my first delivery of his fine pots. He is actually in the process of photographing all his inventory of pots so that he can then set up a website where they will be available for purchase. I found Paul very easy to deal with. I gave him my requirements and he then sent me pic's of pots that fitted these criteria and later even let me choose some glazes to put on some pots he was firing at the time. The pots are excellent. They are made to a very high standard, I cannot fault them and I am very happy with them. I also found that the photo's are very true to colour and that the pots actually do look as great as the pictures do. Especially the gloss glazes, i wondered if they would actually be as nice as the great photography made them look and they are. They were also very carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition despite the gaping rip in the side of the box!
So while I agree that we must support our local potters ( I'm looking forward to your parcel arriving soon too Penny) we are all citizens of the world as well as Ozzies and i for one am looking forward to Paul getting his website up and running, so I can see more of his work.
Here's some pics of my new pots ...
