Tree number two Juniper squamata 'prostrata'

Ok so after some advice and some more reading and because one tree is just not enough I decided to have a go at a Juni.

A little too exuberent with the bending, no warning just a sudden snap luckily just a spliton the top of the ranch quickly treated and bound after much cursing and slapping of the forehead.

I still have a way to go in this little fella to get it to where i want it and thats if it survives. But I'm happy with the start except for the cracked branch of course fingers crossed it doesn't die off.
Ok so what does everybody think and please be gentle.

Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah I was going for the windswept look. It might end up being just the lower branch yet depending on the survival of the upper. I had thought of removing the upper branch but i figured it would make some good practice bending and I could always remove it later, which I have been reliably informed is much easier than sticking it back on once removed

Hi,

One major word of warning with J squ prostata. It is dangerous to bend or twist them during spring or major growth spurts. The cambium can become separated from the wood and die.

This is a major growth time in Canberra so easy does it when it comes to bending. Lots to do ohterwise; plenty of trimming.

Thought I might try a bit of a virt.
Still trying to decide if I should get rid of the top branch or not.
Then of course there is the matter of the pot.
