Hi Tman , i like your sense of humour too fella . Getting some desired trunks off these JBP's , single , twin , tripple and currently fusing several to create a multi trunked clump style . I will use some of these to in-arch back onto the big mother i'm currently fusing together .Cheers Alpine

Hi alpineart,

Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy this post :D I have a very strong and big black pine on the ground. I have been thinking of doing layering on the branches to create multi-trunk stocks. In the last few seasons, it still seems weak, now it looks very strong. I will try out this winter.

Best regards.

Hi Daiviet , the branches certainly makes for a good multi trunk layers .I have numerous multi 5-12 shoot branches on the 4 for $40 pines .I will set several layers to try and achieve some multi trunks and raft type trainers .It will be a little bit involved getting the layers set but they should work . Best of luck with yours and please post some progressions .Cheers Alpine
