Juniperus Procumbens Nana from cutting

Post by distractor »

Hi there,
This tree I took from a cutting almost 4 years ago. I can't really say what inspired me to style the tree in this way
but it just came to me one afternoon. This is how it stands now after much love and care. Nothing has been done
other than a wiring job or two, some pinching and heavy fertilisation. The tree is approx 20cm tall and sits in a
Japanese unglazed round pot and is planted in a 80/20 Dupla 'Ground' and peat mix. The Dupla stuff is planted aquarium
substrate made from fired clay and seems to be supporting the tree well for 2 years now. Other than the lack of trunk
diameter I think it has a positve future. Please let me know your thoughts positive or negative.
