Large Hakea suaveolens

Hi All, here is a pic of a Hakea that i have been working on for the past few years,it has come on great and responds well to being cut back older branches are very hard to bend and snap without warning.

Nice work John,
We do not often see these as bonsai, (perhaps because of the difficulties you mentioned) but it is really good to see the results that can be achieved.

I collected two hakea macrocarpa back in August which are shooting well - so far, so good.

There doesn't seem to be much information about hakea as bonsai so, while yours is suaveolens not microcarpa, any advice you have to offer re hakea care would be much appreciated,
