I have a Crab Apple for sale at $50.00. It's an aerial layer I cut off last January. It was repotted last August and is growing strongly. You can see some of the new roots on the right in one of the photos. It measures 6cm dia and 48cm high. Pick up only.

Wish I was closer, Penny. I don't know if they will grow up here.

It does get pretty hot and humid here, so I don't see why not. The parent tree is a real survivor. It came from a neighbour's yard. I've been aware of it for 20 years and during all that time it was neglected but grew well and flowered and fruited. I didn't get to see it in flower but it always had plenty of fruit. I dug it out last year, I think. I did post a thread on it here then. It didn't flower this year so I missed out again. I have a couple of layers from it and, if I have time, hope to take several more until the original tree is the height I want. If you have the opportunity to be passing through, I'll probably have one or two for you.
Penny.
