Lime sulphure

Post by rudy »

Hi All,

I have a couple of Junipers and one in particular ha been in a deteriating state for a few years but is not dead. Some branches are dead and the others appear to be a few year behind them. I have heard that mites might be attacking them and have given them a tap over white paper and have found a few crawlies.

I have heard that LS can get rid of them. Can anyone tell me what concentrate to use and when is the best time. IF it is infact mites when can a recovery in growth be evident. Also is it good to spray Radiatas as a precation as mine are in close proximity of the Junipers.

Any advice would be welcome.

Regards
Rudy

:gday: Rudy if you wish to use Lime sulphur as an insecticide, you should use it as per manufacturers instructions on the packaging.

If you wish to use for wood preservation as in shari or jin, use it at full strength.

Cheers I hope this helps. It has been posted before.

I diluted LS as per manufacturer's instructions like Pup mentioned and it works very well on the rust and creepy crawlies under the leaves of azaleas.
