REPOTTING??

Post by griffo84 »

hi guys/girls i was just wondering if it would be ok at this time of year to transplant my little elm, pine, fig, juniper and maple into a bigger growing container to fatten up? And if so should i bare root them and cut some of the roots or should i just wash some soil off and tease the roots out and leave all roots uncut and just transplant???

Do not bare root at this time of year.
Just tease out the roots from the edge of the mass and pot up into a biger container

There was a tutorial posted just this month, the 16th, by Alpineheart on what you need to know.
It is about slip potting.
