Hi Andrew, keep in mind that not many Nurseries would recommend posting during Summer. Plants don't always do so well all packaged up in the heat in the back of a van :palm:
I do have lots of varieties but only a couple are worth the bother at present, next year I will have a better choice
From talking to some Bonsai people in Queensland, Satsuki can be a difficult proposition due to the humidity but I would be interested to hear what other Queenslanders have to say on this.

Gday Damian
I have some vey young cuttings that Mojo sent me last year and they are doing really well. I did loss a couple but that was due to the lack of roots when I repotted them. When yours are ready I would very much like to get some :tu:

Gday Dan
Yes I have been down to Robins place and when I was there he had a couple of small styled but not much in the way of Satsuki stock trees.

Trevor McColm of Bonsai Art in Melbourne has lots of Satsuki in various sizes.

We purchased one for the opening demo at the NBPCA two years ago.

As you can see it is doing fine and was on display when in flower.

Gday Ken
I would love to take a trip down to Canberra but I think my misses would not be happy with a 36 hour round trip :(

Thats a very nice tree Grant :tu:
I have been in touch with Trevor but unfortunately he will not post.
The big problem is that there are some species that you can not buy in Qld so they need to be brought in from down south. Hence this thread.

I have two Azalea in my back yard here in the Wide Bay which may or may not be ( :? ) Satsuki and except for a MAJOR attack of Azalea blight are going gangbusters - even with the rain and humidity we are presently experiencing. I would also be interested in obtaining a few more as well.
