Christmas Score and Matt's Wisteria

Post by archie1979 »

Gday Everyone,
I thought I might post some of the scores from visiting my parents over the Xmas period. MY parents are selling up and moving house and there were some azaleas out the back that mum reckons have been there for around 20 years.

Anyways we dug them up and I took a couple and mum is going to look after the rest.

Nice trunk sizes, this first one I thought I might attempt a full cascade azalea as it had a very long whip tail and it seemed a shame to just cut it off. If I dont like it later on I can then turn it into a semi but we will see how it goes. I need to grow another branch on the right hand side as you can see it is a little unbalanced. They back bud on bare wood easy so it shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Another Azalea except the trunk on this is huge, an awesome score I think I will just go with a broom on this one.

And Matt as promised here is the kindly donated Wisteria after its haircut.

Looking good
