Thank's Bodhi,
I built a fence this week and dug up a cluster of about 5-6, I had no idea what it was but looked close to privet, but did not know as the leaves are rounder, softer and of course a goldy green, they look good so i kept them.
At the moment they are soaking and i'm trying to get rid of the ants nest in it.

Nice colour Bodhi :-)

Mick just squirt the roots with a hose to clean out the ants, Privet will bounce right back :-)

Thanks people, it is a shame they go yellow again but as the tree develops and ramifies more it will be spectacular for three or four weeks. And that is enough in our world of changing Bonsai
