My favourite is the red one - Put it aside for me Pat - bring it to the WCBG show.

Cheers,
Leigh.

Hi Pat,
just got a call from KIMURA, he wants to put a Black Pine in the red pot.
I told not to be so silly and that some of our members would put him right. ;)
cheers

Hi Scott,

I've been tossing around the idea of developing a cream glaze for years...maybe now's the time to do it!

Thanks for the shove, :P

Those are some excellent pots Pat!
BTW, I can't help but feel you are soon going to be sorry for giving out too many secrets to new potters?
How is the pottery competition in your neck of the woods of OZ?
Are you a potter for a living? I don't think I ever heard?

Hi Pat,
Mate there seems some demand here for those awful pots you create. I might create a new posting and get you to put up some decent stuff for sale

I thought someone got that one already.
If it is still available - I would love it.

Cheers Pat.

Hi Dale,

Welcome to OZ!!

See Brett.....it's not just Penny and me, it's a worldwide conspiracy of potters

I don't intend to live forever Dale. Imagine where we'd be if nobody passed on snippets of info accrued over a lifetime. Mind you, there are a couple of techniques I'm hanging onto for a little while longer. ;)

Getting tougher by the minute.

Well, I try! I have very simple tastes...lots of underground mutton....sometimes I can even afford to cook it!!!

Stay in touch Dale, you might learn lots from us Ozzie potters

I don't mind giving out techniques or help to established guys. I've given several hints to Andy UK. But I draw the line at telling secrets to folks who have yet to make ten fired pots! i also have a 'Thing' against illegal sales by folks without a retail license, or what ever you call it in Oz.

Ha! Thats not going to get any better!

True here to. i make less than half what I did in '94!!! It's funny how low we can go!

I've been reading for a couple weeks now since FliBri told me about it. Read all the whining about wanting secrets!

You are showing some nice pots. I really like some of your clay bodies I see also.

Yes Pat, I meant strawberries. The colour is fine - very subtle. It all depends on what you are looking for. The copper red I like has limited uses for bonsai pots, yours can be used with a much wider range of trees.

Hi Dale, weclome to our neck of the woods.
Making pots is a desease (we call it passion) we can't help ourselves - rather like doing bonsai.
