Revisit of Good bonsai stock like Japanese nurseries.

Post by boom64 »

Hi all,
After reading this post [ november ] I went out and took to a bunch of seedlings .I have 3 Casuarinain trees in the front yard ,so no shortage of seedlings. This is the result of one of them.I have just rewired for the second time, the first lot of wire was starting to bite and i had a new lot of growth comming up straight.Have been feeding to the max!! Unsure as what type of Casuarina, talk around town is that they are either Swamp She Oaks orCoastal She Oaks . :lost:
Regards John.

Interesting. Is that a single seedling or a few in the pot? Will you keep all the branches/trunks for a twisted style trunk or thin them out some? :)
Regards, Mitchell.

Hi Mitchell &Aussie Bonsai ,
Yes it is only one seedling in the pot .The pictures are 2 from the front ,and 2 from the back. The plant does look a bit wild :) .
I am a bit unsure were to go from here, regarding all the branches? I have about 20 going ,so might thin out a few ,and let the rest go crazy . All good fun ,hopefully they will come to something ,eventually. :fc:
Any advice gratefully appreciated.
Regards John.
