Hey guys, Most of you know i moved from rockhampton central queensland to NE vic exactly 12 months from today. I think i picked a good year to come as drought for the last 10 years + to this. My trees have also enjoyed the change with them looking very heathy even the figs are doing well. Ive got 2 alpacas young girls arriving tomorrow so im looking forward to that.

Hi Noah78 ,you did pick a good year to move down this way . Apart from the floods we have had an exceptional year with Mild temps and plenty of glorious rain . Things are thriving around here also , too much some times but it keeping me on my toes and off the streets . Look forward to the same mild summer next year or so they tell me , here's hoping .Cheers Alpine

Re: Our first summer in NE vic
That wasn't a summer Noah! Your thread should read 'Our first Dec, Jan, Feb in NE vic' because there has not really been a 'Summer' this year
Good to hear the alpacca expidition was successful. You can look forward to a mound of alpacca poo in the paddock - very convenient for fertilising the garden.
It is very good to have you both in the area. Looking forward to more bonsai discussion times together.

G'day Noah, you have been let off the hook this year. No fires, no smoke cover for months, its been a dream summer, even the hose has had a fair bit of down time.
Your paddocks are looking pretty lush.

I have to agree, no Summer this year. I have not seen it green in the Central Highlands at this time of year ever. I hope it stays like this. Maybe you have brought us good luck Noah.
