Damaged Fig cascade on the mend

Post by bonsaiboy50 »

Just thought I would share this with you guys. This fig took a tumble about a year age during a bad storm and was badly damaged.About one third of the cascade and the head of the tree were broken off   . With a bit of TLC it has recovered and I hope well on its way to being the tree it was. Love to hear any comments on how it is progressing.
Thanks Bonsaiboy

will you try to reclaim the original style ?----not sure where you want to go with this --as it is I reckon the left hand side should be reduced about half and right semi cascade possibly moved to the right(away from the front of the pot) then repotted in something that is about 1\3 the height of existing pot--that nebari is excellent and could possibly look better in a slightly wider pot yes? --no?
