:gday: everyone :wave:
i got this taiwan maple and it has seeds they starting to go brown when can i pick them
the wings are brown but the actual seed part is still green i put picture on.

Don't pick them, tie a cloth bag over them when you think it is close to time.

thanks mick but the problem is it is the whole tree covered in them about 400 seeds alot of bags :lol:

Handy Mick is spot on, given the amount there are two options I can see.

1. Place in an enclosed area, in a corner and let it shed them. Collect as they fall, so the don't blow away.

2. Use bird netting the 1.5cm net may let 1 or 2 small seeds though but will catch the rest.

hi handy
i could use red and green bags under the tree but i think i might just go moving the pot onto a small cement area with a double brick around it to catch all in the little area
