Lennard,
Very interested in your technique but I am afraid I do not understand what the process is. Can you post some simple drawings to show step one, step two etc.
Thanks

Sorry if i have made it more complicated than it is - the language barrier make it sometimes difficult for me to put my thoughts in words.Jerry Meislik wrote:Lennard,

The first picture show the normal growth of a twig - in the case of a Brush Cherry opposite leaves. I pinch the tip and cut back the leaves, leaving a little piece of the leaf and the stalk.
These second picture show the new buds growing. In Brush Cherries you will get two very small leaves or two bigger leaves on the new twigs. If you get the two very small leaves you just pinch the tip after the two small leaves. If the leaves are too big you pinch again and cut the leaves back to the stalk leaving a little bit of leaf. The next pair of leaves will be very small.
Here you can see the very small leaves after the proses was repeated.
Hope this has cleared it up for you.
