Thanks

Re: [WANTED] figs trees
Hi Makro,
I am sure there will be lots of opportunities at the BNW show in 3 weeks time.
The growing season for figs is finished so it will make little difference if you get something now or wait 6 months.

Q: Why are we all here?
A: Because we are not all there.

Re: [WANTED] figs trees
2 year old port Jackson figs available from Shibui Bonsai. We will have some at the BSV show in spring if you can wait that long.
Port Jackson fig seems to be most popular in Vic and makes great subject for fast development technique. A little more cool hardy than some others and smaller leaves than Moreton Bay fig. Noah showed me some impressive willow leaf figs this year but I haven't seen them for sale down here.

makro, my personnal favorite is willow leaf which i only have 4 atm but did take 50 or so cuttings last summer so next season they will still be small but can give you some if you want. They will need protection from frost. i also have 12 or so port jacksons which are a very good variety getting good trunks and small leaves with technique. need spring i still want to downsize some more pj ill have up then. ill get a pic of one of the shohin willow leafs just to show how small the leaf can be reduced

Hi Noah,
Thats very kind of you and I would like to take you up on your offer re the willow leaf fig. I must say that your fig trees are my inspiration and driver behind trying the listed technique.
Look forward to your photos as well.
