Re: Don Deluca Workshops
This is a tree which I am considering for the workshop.
A pinus radiata which I dug up a year ago. The trunk is very straight so I planted it at an angle in the hope of making it more interesting. Lots of branches to choose from and a trunk which is still thin enough to bend.
Then there is another approach which is to make a formal upright, a style we do not often see done well but perhaps this is a good candidate with its large number of branches.
I trust Don will help make a good decision. Any thoughts?

Re: Don Deluca Workshops
I want to bring a big pine from the same dig if we can lift it. I cant beleive these trees have responded so well and i am already considering working it. Its gonna be a good weekend. We're pretty excited down here and are really happy to have him coming down to us for the first time.
