Hey guys,
I'm looking for some besser blocks to use to build some basic benches to keep my trees on.
Obviosuly the cheaper the better!! :P
Will throw in a carton of beer as well if they are able to be delivered, as my little daihatsu might carry maybe 4 at once :P
I'm in Brissie on the Northside, so obvisouly Brissie area is preferred.
My number is 0439 754 013, SMS only before 6pm though please.
Otherwise call after 6pm or PM on here.
Any help will be much appreciated :D

Hey Nathan,

I could help you out but its a bit of a hike to get there....

Try also putting a want ad on your local freecycle page....You will need a yahoo ID but then its free to post and a great resource for an amazing array of things...I use it regularly & have both given & received items, from plants & garden stuff to some great furniture & even a PC for a friend!

Another free classifieds site is http://www.gumtree.com.au and it has a section for freebies & want ad's too.

Good luck with your mission... look forward to hearing of your success..
Matt

nice suggestions Matt ... apart from that, as a price guide, I eventually gave up and got most of mine from Bunnings $2.50 each, though a lot of garden centers offer delivery if you're getting a few? Good luck :fc:

Look gor cheap or giveaway's in the Weekend Shopper. Otherwise, some landscapers are outlets for Boral seconds. I only know of the one in Wacol, but the blocks are usually half the price of Bunning$.

Matt, Thanks for the suggestions and websites!! A couple fo thigns I hadn't thought of, or put alot of thought into!
I think I have to agree that it might be a bit far from your place, especially for a carton of beer :P
Ryan and Al, thanks also!! Al, I'll potenitally check out Wacol if they are considerably cheaper....
At least I've now got a few more options :D
