Where to collect trees from the wild/nature in Victoria?
Has anyone been on a dig for wild/or Naturally growing trees suitable for Bonsai in Victoria? There seems to be lots of digs going on in other states of Australia. If so, id like to organise one soon!?

Best to join a club, they always have organised digs, a lot of them on private land that you would otherwise never get access to, for me any feral plants on public land are fair game, particularly stuff on the side of the road that you know is going to get it eventually from the council or a grader, I help myself to trees anywhere I find them as long as they are not on private property and are not native to the area and are obviously growing wild and not planted there by someone

guys, its not illegal to collect on landowners property with their permission, you can also organise through your council for a dig day, you will need to organise things like traffic controll and parking etc
