trident maple
i got this trident about 5 yrs ago not much to look at but is as thick as a longneck.
first yr didnt work so tried again second yr success enough to suport the tree.
has been growing in straight akadama for the last 2yrs and has grow well with roots out the bottom of the pot.
branches have been guy wired to pull them down till i liked what i saw.
first major wiring now out with the power tools the top and the top right branch have been reduced
now to work on the roots this yr.
cheers

Re: trident maple
Beautiful progress on this tree! You've really taken it a long way. Do you think the wiring is too tight though, or did you intentionally wire it close like that?
