"N" = Crazy Philbert or Crazy Hazel, corylus avellana
A few of the very early posts were my trees but I ran out of pictures.
I took my camera on a tour of a friends collection which I agree is very impressive :worship: , he will read and be grateful for the compliment.

Neal, while they share a common name they are seperate genera.
Cydonia oblonga- quince
Pseudocydonia sinensis- chinese quince
Chaenomeles cathayensis, japonica, speciosa - flowering quince

Also sharing the common name is Aegle marmalos - Bengal quince

I dont really think it is any of them but my other quess of a type of Prunus goes out with the plum
