Very fine, very funky. How tall is it?

Would you consider taking a bit from the right side to balance it with the left? I'm being really picky. I like it a lot.

Coming along nicely. I would shorten the right and extend the left. the movement on the trunks is to the left, the foliage should match.

definately gonna have to do something about the right side. its good to be able to see the flaws in pics sometimes. the other thing is that right hand branch needs some more time to get the secondary branching, it doesnt have much width.

also plan on a lot more carving :D

gday gavin, this one stands at around 21cm tall. (210mm) so i guess you could call it shohin, its trunk is quite thick a rough diameter of 4-5inches maybe a tad bigger.

gday jester :D

mate all it is, is practice ;) take ya time, and use a 2b pencil, this can smudge a little but that can help ;)

cheers bro! wouldnt have it without you :D very muchly appreciated. the other one had a little prob a few months back and lost a fair bit of its branching. but is powering on again, should have it to its former glory in another 3-6 months :D it was as full as the clump.

and yea would love another for the comp bro! :D will pm you :D

gday Ryan :D

cheers mate :D muchly appreciated :Dif you go back to the start of the thread you will see what I had started with. MattA has to take the credit in finding this stock as he was the one who located it and was kind enough to do a trade with me! :D

I think it is a good plan to have a plan to work to. even if the sketch isnt perfect, aslong as you know where you want it to head and you follow it, you should be able to do it :D
