I have a small bush in my front garden I am thinking could make good stock for the shohin comp. Only one problem, I have long forgotten the name of the plant I think it was sold with the name of African fuschia ?.? I brought the original plant about 15yrs ago & struck this cutting about 5yrs ago.
Leaves are opposite & slightly furry when young, upright pointing clusters of orange tubular flowers. Sorry I cant be more specific, its been a while since i saw it flower (pruning too often)
Matt
