After nine months of of waiting the baby has been re-born. Bonsai Vault is now open for new members once more. I took the role of Administrator on the 12th of August (dunno whether that was a wise move on my part) lol. But I'm willing to give it a go and keep the ship afloat.
The way I see things is that these sites are not competing against each other but enhancing our choices as bonsai lovers. So I will continue to visit and contribute to ausbonsai as I have done for some years.
Cheers
Ash

Re: Bonsai Vault
Jamie thanks for your kind words. The site didn't close it was just treading water without an Administrator. I had a lot of tools at hand but not the ones to run the site properly. i.e. admit new members etc. No controversy about why the last Admin. pulled the pin, he just never came back and nobody knows why. Was it something I said?
NO!.

Re: Bonsai Vault
Hi Ash
I check BV every day and have noticed new activity so figured you got the admin sorted
I reckon we can both coexist happily together
will the "Study Groups" be making a comeback? I never joined due to time commitments, but usually checked out the transcripts later

Re: Bonsai Vault
Hi Ken... I do appreciate that you visit each day and that you are fair dinkum on why you visit. You actually spurred me on to get this site up and running once more in a post. Bonsai Vault is probably the smallest bonsai site on Earth but that suits us just fine because we want to attract serious bonsai practitioners. Many thanks Ken!
