It's a bit annoying that the tree has grown around the wire but I'm happy so long as the tree is fine, growing and healthy I will get my hands on a pair of pliers and as you said just neaten up the trunk

Okay I won't remove the wire if it doesn't harm the tree. Currently it has been outside all day and has received some sun and it is now in the shade and out of the wind. I have also found a bonsai club in my area and will get in contact with them Thanks

Nice nails Liv, are they yours but seriously , yeah the other guys are spot on, you will do more damage than good trying to get it off, and as long as the bark grows over it, the tree should still get its nourishment as it appears to be doing, as it looks healthy enough.

Thanks Paul and Scott I have noticed that with just putting the tree outside nearly all day yesterday and gave it more water the leaves/shape to it have returned.
