Thanks Andrew,
It's a bit annoying that the tree has grown around the wire but I'm happy so long as the tree is fine, growing and healthy

I will get my hands on a pair of pliers and as you said just neaten up the trunk

Nice nails Liv, are they yours

but seriously , yeah the other guys are spot on, you will do more damage than good trying to get it off, and as long as the bark grows over it, the tree should still get its nourishment as it appears to be doing, as it looks healthy enough.

I have noticed that with just putting the tree outside nearly all day yesterday and gave it more water the leaves/shape to it have returned.
