Howdy the little branch comes forward a lot an the trunk is still very thick there :lol: :lol: :lol: so might turn the main trunk part above this branch into dead wood :whistle: :whistle: . Came up with a quick design but don't think ill do the second trunk tho.
The base of the trunk is about 66cm across :shifty: :shifty: the biggest ive got now ill try to keep the hight of the tree to about 70cm . Gave it a good drink of seasol an just have to wait now an see where it shoots :fc: :fc:

Got rid of the bits i didnt need from this olive :lol: :lol: :lol: my brother has an open fire place so its at his place now :whistle: :whistle:

Just a quick update on this tree had a little dig to see if anything is happening on this tree an have found possible signs of things starting to happen i found along the edge of some cuts possible roots starting to form :fc: :fc:

Crazy... that is a beast.

I would't worry about the lack of new growth just yet, these big olives can sometimes sulk for two or three growing seasons before pushing out again.
As long as the wood high on the tree stays green at the cambium you will know it is hanging in there. Just give it a scratch from time to time.

Found a small shoot on this beast today :) its not anything i can use tho as its at the far right of the tree :palm: put its good to know things are starting to happen :fc:

Well this tree is alive an is shooting from the base below ground level :palm: :palm: :palm: all the main trunk is very much alive :fc: :fc: it shoots along it some where been a big effort with this one :lol: :lol:

Well finally getting a shoot up top still to small to take picture tho its been developing slow for the last 2 weeks which i can understand for what it been threw :lol: :lol: :lol: below is old picture of a virt i did a while ago.

The trunk is mostly dead maybe 90% or more which is kinda of a bugga but thats collecting hopefully have further pictures as the warmer weather gets it growing :lol: :lol:

Ripper base, olives were just born to be bonsai material weren't they.
