got some work ahead of you there
Tis just a thought.....have you ever heard of maples, elms, pines, and of course our wonderful natives
anyways, I am available Sunday if needed
yeah heard of them just like the rugged olives going to the parents place to cut the tap root on my big pine then collect in spring maybe also check out my elms there to as for natives never had any of them but do have my eye on a sheoak at my brothers place its starting to lean over his house so is going to remove it told him to let me no when he is lol
I think you should give Alpine a call as I no he has just bought a new tractor that you might be able to lone of him to help you with the digging of that little olive that you have come across
Alpine is interstate i think heading back to it today im a bit sore tho getting a bit old for these big trees ill get some more pictures today i think it be the last one of this size for some time .
Hi Olivecrazy , mate sling the farmer a slab for the use of his tractor , saves a lot of hard work and blisters and our farmers are doing it tough . Because its on his boundary offer to help him sink that slab though .Most country folk would be glad to help remove an obstacle like that off the fence line .
i got it i got it home at last the dead wood fell of tho but has plenty to dremel later will post picture a bit later will clean it up in the morning still got some work on it to do my poor electric chain saw has some work to do hahahahaha
Did some tuff work on this stump today but didnt make it chainsaw broken got real close to oh well will have a go at it in the morning some how . My back up plan is to plant it in a raised garden bed an fill with good potting mix where the roots will hopefully grow . Will be a bugga to do major work yrs down the track when lifting the tree but the main thing now is to get it growing again here are some picture one shows the tree im after im 90% finished before the chainsaw crapped out
