So, the convention is the only way anyone will get to see him.

Cheers, Dario.
If the above is true, I must say I am quite surprised.sean.mitchell1 wrote:May not be in the spirit of Bonsai but can you imagine if you paid someone to come and speak to your group and then another group jumped in and got them for next to nothing. Hypothetically speaking, what if I wrote Mr Neil, who is a professional, therefore a businessman, a cheque for $10 grand for a 4 day gig in Melbourne for the Melbourne Bonsai Clubs on the weekend after the AABC, would he be allowed to do the gig? How about if I flew him back to the US and then straight back out? Would that still be undercutting the AABC? Further to that, would more international artists come to our shores if there were opportunities to tour for a prolonged period following a big gig for the governing body of Australian Bonsai?
I'm sorry, and with all due respect to the AABC, it's members and friends (some of whom I know and respect), regardless of how you spin it, that is not in the spirit of bonsai. It must be possible to have a more advantageous arrangement than that, one that benefits bonsai in Australia and visiting professionals.
