This will be the best native bonsai display ever for Victoria, I know many of the trees and cannot wait to see them all in one place.
There is also a huge interest from the public. My small display at work keeps running out of flyers, only photocopies left.

If coming by public transport, Essendon Railway Station is a short walk.

Here's a map for people without a Melways.

The venue is on the North Eastern corner closest to the Railway Station.

The marker on the map might be confusing.
The hall is on Buckley Street about 100 metres from Essendon Station. (near the boom gates)

Great show guys. Loved the big 'Old Man' Banksia in the middle of the room. I'm on the lookout now for a banksia serrata to train up myself! :tu2:

Absolutely cracking effort and so great to see an all Australian bonsai affair.

Collection was brilliant with a few familiar faces but a heap of trees that I had never seen shown before.
Backgrounds and setup were lovely and I really liked the lookup sheet which informed the viewer of the species and a basic background of each tree.

I picked up a bit of pottery and a little tree.
I would have liked to see a few more smaller trees on display however I am only being picky.
Good stuff and very inspiring work.

No pics sorry people's.
I'll leave that to those with a camera that could do the subject matter justice!

P.s. That banksia was incredible!!!!

That banksia is well known, it spent most of last year on display in Canberra at the NBPCA
