Victorian Native Bonsai Club Show

Hi Everyone,
I'm proud to announce that we will be holding our inaugural show in April so please mark this VERY important event in your bonsai calendar and come and visit us.

Date: April 12 & 13
Time: 10 am to 4 pm both days.
Venue: McNab Hall, St Johns Uniting Church
Corner of Mt Alexander Rd and Buckley St Essendon
Entry: Adults $ 5 Children Free.

Hi everyone,
Just over two weeks to go, all preparations are done and the excitement is building.

We will be having what I consider to be one of the best selection of potters selling at our show, so if you are looking for that special pot or if you're like me "pot obsessed" come and check us out. Pots by Lorraine Simpson, Trevor Wheeler, JoAnn, Val, Tom Cockcram
And of course the best Native display this side of Victoria

This show should be an eye opener for all you Native lovers.
There are going to be some ripper trees on display. Some never exhibited before and some not seen for a long time.
Not to be out done the local potters will also have some wonderful stuff available.

Hey Marcela,
The Lorraine Simpson pots that were sold at the last VNBC meeting were the best I have seen of Australian Potters and really well priced. Are there plenty more ordered for the show?

Hi Maple,
We sure will.. I just received Lorraine's sales sheet and looks like there will be a great range to choose from.
We will also have Diatomite and Orchiatta nuggets for sale as well as a good selection of native stock.

I hope that the club will be able to post some photos of the trees on display for the many Ausbonsai members not able to attend.......

Let's hope that this will grow as an Aussie bonsai 'bushfire' that will inspire all our collections in the coming years (figuratively of course... )
