I hear on the grapevine that there will be a couple of boxes of Yamadori for sale at ridiculously cheap prices - crab apples, maples, elms. All these will develop into Shohin so if small is your calling, be there early.

Hey Watto, cant wait for this years exhibition in Goulburn. Am looking forward to seeing our new display tables in the new location. Should be a few different tree species on show this year as well as some familiar trees with another year of training. Been some good work at our monthly meetings, with new members adding an interesting touch. It is so good to see that individual taste is nurtured along with the trees. Hope to see some old friends and meet some new ones on Saturday and Sunday. But.... will miss Mary's usually ever-present support. Hope we come up to scratch. You'd best behave or I'll tell on you!

Viv, I'm always good but without Mary there to keep me in line there may be a few temptations?

Watto, See you on Sunday morning.
Was going to queue up on Saturday morning but Margaret is volunteering at the collection on Saturday.

Looking forward to seeing you Grant, normally the Sunday is a little less congested so you should be able to get a better look at the trees.
Only one sleep to go until we open.

G’day all.
Thought it was about time I posted something after trolling around here for a while now.
Made it up to the Goulburn Bonsai Society Exhibition on Saturday, great little show and worth the drive.
Acquired myself a nice little Crab Apple and Hawthorn and a really nice tray style pot for a group planting that I’m planning.
Thanks for the chat Watto, it was great to meet you and the other members.
Now you can tell me which was your tree mate. Good luck with the People’s Choice.
A few pix from the Exhibition.

Good Afternoon Watto,
Agree with Docpep - show was really good - Sandra and I were very impressed - all the trees were very well presented - there were 3 that I thought were stunning most particularly the PJ which "blew me out of the water" - wife thought something else was better(so what's new).
Sandra saw a couple of pots of Viveann's she liked so I had to buy them which is great because now it will not be my fault that I just have to go look for trees to fill them.
May see you this week at CBS Show

Saw the show and echo comments above. Bought a few pots ( who would have thought it) and was intrigued by the large Acer campestre in flower.
