I found the 5mm head ones easy. The 10mm heads are harder to find but here is one from the UK.

Bretts, you've just given me an idea (after following that link). How about Australian Geographic?

Those pins from the UK are a bit expensive I reckon - that's about $7.00 for 20 pins, then there's the postage on top of that. Surely we can find them somewhere here in Oz.

Jow, this might be stating the obvious, but have you tried your work stationary supplier/s who supplied them in the first case?

Thanks for that Brett, I had tried searching the net but must have been using bad keywords.... Hopefully i can find some locally but failing that its good to know i can get them via the UK. What search terms did you use?

Josh: The office orders their stationary via office works and they do not stock them so the pins at work were either ordered long ago or bought on a whim from elsewhere...

Jow, several years ago when I was into building model boats the Modellers Shipyard supplied headed pins to hold planking in place. Some of them were threaded and had a small extended knurled head to grip them. Give them a ring. They used to be at Nowra but are now at Blaxland in the lower Blue Mountains. I think they may have web site, but definitely worth a try. Ask about planking pins,
